Senior Marketing Strategist
£40,000-45,000 per annum
Role Overview:
As Senior Marketing Strategist at Pretty Pragmatic, you’ll provide strategic direction to key clients, advise on comms plans, discover insights for new marketing opportunities and ultimately deliver outstanding results from the activity you propose.
The main elements of the role will be:
- Developing strategic plans for client campaign activity.
- Providing strategic direction for digital projects, from website builds to integrated digital ad campaigns.
- Presenting campaign ideas and strategic plans to senior clients and stakeholders.
- Planning and executing highly impactful ad campaigns on social and search channels including ongoing optimisation and incremental updates to maximise campaign effectiveness.
- Briefing and working closely with the creative team on content and campaign development to create great creative outputs.
- Using data from tools such as Google Analytics and SEMRush to provide insights and inform marketing opportunities and future activity.
- Creating marketing and content calendars and plans for clients utilising industry best practices to assist clients in reaching their strategic and commercial objectives.
- Budget planning, monitoring and management for agency projects and media campaigns.
- Reporting and providing strategic recommendations that can improve business performance – be it quick wins or long-term game-changing campaigns.
Required skills
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll be a good fit for the role if you have sufficient levels of experience either within an in-house marketing role covering a breadth of digital activity – from content plans, CRM expertise and campaign development through to paid search, social and SEO – or a hands-on marketing strategist working agency side who’s used to dealing with a range of digital channels.

We’re based in Bristol and looking for someone who will be able to work from our lovely studio space in The Paintworks at least three days a week.
