Managing Director: Bristol Creative Industries

Bristol Creative Industries (BCI) is seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Managing Director to lead our small executive team & champion the thriving creative ecosystem across the region.
This is a newly created role to shape the strategy, grow revenue, build partnerships & be a proactive voice of one of the UK’s most dynamic creative communities. We’re looking for a strategic thinker who’s equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to create opportunities & deliver growth for BCI. And, importantly its members.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the development & execution of BCI’s strategy
- Drive income through membership growth, partnerships, sponsorships & new initiatives
- Build strong relationships across industry, education, policy & the wider business community
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running & strong governance
- Inspire, support & develop a small but high-performing team
- Represent BCI confidently at events, in the media & across the creative industries
What you’ll bring:
- Senior leadership experience in a creative, marketing, digital or membership organisation
- A proven track record of business planning, commercial growth & managing a P&L/budget
- Experience in developing & rolling out new products & services
- Success in business development, pitching & partnership building
- Inspirational communication skills & the ability to influence at all levels
- A passion for the creative industries & their role in economic & cultural life in the region

Salary:
From £60,000 to £65,000
