Responsibilities
- Paid Media Management: Understanding of and regular referral to client activity plans, demonstration of a comprehensive understanding of client objectives, working with the team to deploy the digital strategies and tactics to meet those objectives.
- Campaign Planning: Working with the strategy and creative teams to develop effective campaigns to reach core audiences and drive results. Strong understanding of analytics and industry performance tools to evaluate results.
- Conversion Tracking: Confidently set up conversion and pixel tracking for Paid Social and Search campaigns for all clients. Navigate tracking software such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, Zapier, Google Tag Manager.
- Knowledge management: Develop knowledge of the clients’ businesses, business objectives and the sector in which they operate to ensure you are able to write and speak knowledgeably on client industries and media trends, make informed recommendations and proactively develop and deploy tactics.
- Client relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Responsible for answering paid media related queries from clients across the agency. Own client calls and present from a paid media perspective. Be a point of contact for client reports, insights and recommendations and strategy meetings.
- Writing: Ensure excellent quality outputs in proposals and reporting.
- Reporting and information sharing: Responsible for timely, efficient and accurate monthly reporting of client’s paid channels. Responsible for the reporting and analysis of any digital campaigns, and sharing this key learnings with the wider team to help optimise future campaigns. Meeting management through keeping agendas and notes, particularly for monthly report meetings.
- Account profitability: Maintain account profitability through accurate time and service level recording.
- Team Management: Effectively manage and support the Digital Executive by being their first point of contact for day-to-day tasks. Help them develop in their roles through training and finding new opportunities for growth.
- Team: Be a positive, proactive and energised member of the team that others trust, follow and want to work with.
- Internal communication: Develop good working relationships with other departments within the agency.
- Agency profile: Assist in the development and management of AUK’s profile in the wider marketing and communications industry, through relevant paid platforms. Increase the agency profile by taking part in new business pitches from a Paid and organic social media perspective.
Required skills
As a Paid Media Manager, you will be a positive, proactive and energised member of the team that is curious to learn and evolve your understanding and knowledge of paid media.
You will have a proven record of delivering successful results and driving business growth for clients. You are proficient in planning and executing paid media campaigns, within Paid Social and/or Paid Search is essential. You will be detail-oriented and curious about providing media marketing solutions to client’s marketing challenges and desire to make a positive contribution to the success of the agency.
As well as the above, we’re looking for the following:
Essential
- 3 years + experience working on Paid Media campaigns essential
- Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Linkedin Ads, Twitter, YouTube and Google Display Network
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and conversion setups
- Confident presenting to clients
- Experience building comprehensive and meaningful reports
- Aware of broader digital marketing trends
- Strong communicator both with internal teams and clients
- Experience in B2B marketing would be advantageous
- A working knowledge of Google Data Studio and/or similar platforms
- Excellent attention to detail
- Analytical and results-focused
- Strategic mindset
