Head of Insights £65k-80k + excellent benefits
Based in or around South West, with one day a week in the Bristol office *this is essential
As Head of Insights, you’ll lead how member and market understanding shapes decisions across the organisation. You’ll combine research, analytics and storytelling to turn learning into action, building frameworks and ways of working that deliver better outcomes for members and the business.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone fluent in data, strategy and storytelling and knows how to turn insight into action.
What you’ll do
- Lead insight projects end-to-end, spanning quantitative and qualitative research, segmentation, personas, brand tracking and customer journeys
- Own the insight roadmap, balancing strategic programmes with stakeholder needs
- Champion an insight-led culture and turn learning into clear, actionable recommendations
- Partner with Marketing, Product and other teams to embed insight into planning, experimentation and messaging
- Build and maintain a central insight repository and core reporting platforms (e.g. NPS, reviews, brand tracking)
- Track member outcomes over time and translate market, cultural and competitor insight into opportunity
- Line manage an Insight Executive and manage external research partners
- Produce an annual report and facilitate workshops that turn insight into strategy
Required skills
About you
- 7+ years’ experience across insight, research, analytics and product marketing
- Strong mixed-methods expertise and confidence working with complex data
- Clear understanding of when and how to use qualitative vs quantitative approaches
- A compelling storyteller with excellent facilitation and communication skills
- Curious, proactive and purpose-driven
- Comfortable leading in fast-moving, high-performance environments
- Easy travelling distance to Bristol to attend the office 1 x per week.
