Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager or Account Director to lead a client portfolio across a variety of sectors for a 9 to 12-month maternity cover contract.
You will be the day-to-day account management contact (with full support whenever needed) on a portfolio of clients, with the aim of managing and sustainably growing these accounts and building strong client relationships.
You’ll manage client relations and report on project development to ensure the timely implementation and delivery of all required communications while monitoring the results.
You will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing campaigns and overseeing projects from start to finish, as well as working with members of our internal design and development team and liaising with suppliers. The role offers plenty of variety, and scope for developing a broad range of skills.
Required skills
Our ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of marketing, including social media and digital, and will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience – either agency or client-side.
Ideally you’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent communicator, friendly, organised and efficient with the ability to create strong client relationships.
- Commercial awareness including managing client budgets and the ability to sustainably grow a portfolio of client accounts.
- Excellent project management skills including managing project budgets.
- Good copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experienced in implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns and events.
- Ability to analyse and interpret statistics.
- Knowledge of SEO and PPC.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
- Self motivated and happy working as part of a small and growing team.
