If you’re an experienced, hands-on Marketing Executive looking for a new chapter in your career and would like to help us to achieve our aims as part of a friendly marketing team, we’d love to hear from you!
You’ll be busy day-to-day supporting our business objectives through implementing a wide mix of marketing activity, delivering the tactical elements of our membership marketing plan. This will include covering engagement, acquisition and retention campaigns, email communications, developing content & collateral, digital & web activity, promoting events programmes and more.
With a lean to B2B, you’re customer-focused with an appetite for achieving results. You can get started from day one, confident of your experience in utilising insights and producing effective marketing communications, and you understand the importance of objectives, audience, data segmentation and testing in context. You’ll also have a talent for producing compelling copy and content in varied formats for different channels as part of content strategy. You’ll demonstrate your successes and learnings through regular performance evaluation and reporting.
You’ll also delight us in bringing solid organisational and planning ability, good communication skills and attention to detail to the role – confident in building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers, with a proactive, flexible approach to your work.
Required skills
Successful applicant will be results driven and experienced in all things related to online and offline marketing. Passionate about customer engagement, brand consistency, segmentation and meaningful measurement, and most importantly thinks “customer first”.
Essential Skills and Experience required:
• 2 years or more experience in a similar marketing delivery role
• Demonstrable evidence of effective marketing campaigns demonstrating value
• Creative but objective-led approach to marketing development
• Excellent personal communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers and members
• An excellent copy writer and proofreader, producing engaging copy and content to target diverse audience segments and multiple channels (demonstrable portfolio of content).
• Understanding of data, segmentation, GDPR, SEO and use of insights to inform future development
• Strong project management, organisational and planning skills, ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
• Experience of working in a B2B environment desirable
• Experience with email platforms, GA and other digital tools eg SEM Rush etc
• Ability to use image, video and design software such as Canva, Photoshop etc
• Self-motivated, positive, flexible, proactive attitude
• Work well independently and as part of a wider team
• Able to travel to office and to attend events in the region (Bristol, BANES, Wiltshire & Gloucestershire) as required.
