Job Description
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our company on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a new position for us, so we’re looking for someone excited to learn about our company and clients, and to oversee the implementation of a new business strategy from initial outreach through to pitching and ultimately securing work.
We’re after someone personable, with existing connections within the videogames and/or entertainment space, who understands the work we do across video, social and design and is able to effectively identify opportunities to expand and diversify that work with both existing and prospective clients.
The successful candidate will be someone who aligns with our company culture and is able to carry and protect that when speaking with our clients. We’re passionate about what we make and the audiences we connect with, and want you to share in that. This isn’t a role centered around hard selling – the quality of our work and ongoing client relationships is more important to us than the quantity.
A key responsibility for the Business Development Manager will be growing and maintaining positive client relationships. You’ll also ensure internal case studies and creds decks are regularly refreshed and sent to appropriate clients, and proactively search for pitch opportunities.
The contract will be for an initial 6-month period. We’d prefer someone able to work from our office in Bath but would consider UK-based remote applicants.
We actively encourage applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, and value the positive impact a diverse team brings both to our company, our clients, and the communities we engage with on a daily basis.
Company benefits
- PlayStation Plus, Netflix, Headspace subscriptions
- Two company parties per year (+ plenty of extra social events)
- Enrolment into our excellent workplace pension scheme
- Generous holiday entitlement
