This class will be taking place on Zoom and a selection of materials will be provided by post in advance as outlined below.*
A rare opportunity to make quick, close-up studies of this shy and much-loved creature. Durer, Rembrandt, Hoffman, Da Vinci – throughout history, artists have been drawn to capturing the unique texture, movement and personality of small mammals.
Students will be shown a range of images and suggested approaches for drawing this subject, as well as a short talk from local hedgehog expert, Yvonne Cox on the life and times of this now rare animal.
Suitable for those who have some previous drawing experience, as this is not a ‘how to draw’ class – rather an exciting opportunity to draw an unusual and at times unpredictable subject matter!
*(If class is booked after 28/06/22 we may not be able to provide all materials in time for the class. Also if you live outside of the UK we unfortunately cannot post materials to you, so when booking please use this code to receive 10% off. NOPOSTAGE2022)
