Led by Metro Mayor Helen Godwin, the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (WECA) manages devolved powers and funding to support the region’s £1.6bn creative economy. Covering Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and Bath & North East Somerset, we invest in the infrastructure, training, and creative pipelines that empower local talent. From funding frontline film and TV production via Greenlight West to supporting grassroots cultural workers through Culture West, our mission is to ensure the West of England remains a premier global hub for creativity and cross-sector innovation.
