My name’s Ruth Suddes, a designer and illustrator based in the endlessly creative city of Bristol.
WallCities is my brand-new business, reflecting a lifelong passion for drawing and making the world a prettier place to be. I particularly love drawing architecture and I like to add a hint of quirky story or a little easter egg for those who really know their city into my illustrations.
My first designs are inspired by the vibrant cities of Bristol and Bath, with lots more on the drawing board.
The Bristol Collection includes a range of Toile de Jouy-influenced wallpapers featuring everything Bristolian, in seven lovely colours.
I also sell my illustrations as prints, greeting cards, wrapping paper and gifts.
I’m concentrating on trying to expand my portfolio and build my business at the moment, but I’m open to commissions if you think my style would suit your project!
