Visit West is the Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) for the West of England. It’s co-owned by Business West and the West of England Combined Authority, and is a company limited by guarantee and operates on a not-for profit basis.
The official LVEP boundary is that of the four unitary authorities of Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The LVEP works with businesses within these areas, and members beyond, to maximise the potential of the region’s visitor economy.
Visit West brings together the business communities, public sector, and wider industry stakeholders, including the domestic and international travel industry to create a strategically-focused and innovative delivery organisation with a clear purpose which is to deliver the development, management, and marketing of the visitor economy for local authorities and the private sector in the West of England.
