Senior art director, illustrator and artist, with 25 years’ experience of taking a brief and finding the idea inside it. Something original, interesting, poignant, exciting or fun. And then kicking it into shape, bouncing it off other people and crafting it into a compelling finished concept. Over the last two decades, my ideas and visuals have helped rescue children and pets, make millionaires, electrify businesses, renovate homes and save the world from alien invasion!
My career to date has been in advertising agencies working on a range of clients in the commercial, charity and B2B sectors and I am now hoping to broaden this range further by going freelance.
Alongside my agency based art direction I also work as a freelance illustrator in a variety of different styles. My illustration work spans a diverse range of subjects and industries, from children’s book characters and food illustrations for global brands to animals for charities and veterinary clinics. I’ve also illustrated medical settings and war zones for humanitarian and overseas aid organisations, horror characters for a TV brand, and medical imagery for pharmaceutical companies.
