I have worked for organisations such as Watershed, Bristol Museum, Rising Arts Agency, Avon Fire, UWE, UOB & Festival of Ideas.
In March of 2017 I completed an apprenticeship with Bristol Media where i attended SXSW as a live sketch artist and visual documentor. My illustrations can be found on my website: jsthompson.wix.com/jasminethompson, and my post-sxsw blog can be located on BristolMedia. Since then I have created a mural in the Pervasive Media Studio and become in-house political cartoonist for Rife Magazine (as well as keeping incredibly busy with other freelance projects!).
Simply, my work is a form of storytelling, and through illustration I try to capture the essence and vibe of a person or place, and use my work as a platform for that story.
