Mentor Digital is looking for a Client Partner to join our client services team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a mid-weight account management role, ideal for an Account Manager who is ready to take the next step and own a portfolio of client relationships.
We are a full-service agency with a high-end technical development team, an excellent UX and creative team and a CRM department to support our growing list of clients.
As a Client Partner, you will be the trusted day-to-day lead for a portfolio of established clients. You will own and grow these relationships, providing consultancy around technical and creative solutions, running regular retainer and roadmap/strategic planning sessions, and helping clients get the most from their digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a web design and development agency environment, with experience of managing multiple client accounts across web development, CMS and creative projects. You will be confident leading client meetings on your own, and turning those conversations into briefs, proposals and new opportunities.
You will work closely with our Client Services Director and senior team on account strategy and larger opportunities.
The delivery of the projects that you agree with your clients will be supported by our Digital Marketing, Project Managers, UX and development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning and developing a portfolio of client accounts as the main point of contact
- Running regular account reviews, retainer and roadmap/strategic planning sessions
- Identifying opportunities to grow your accounts and generating new briefs
- Capturing requirements and writing briefs, proposals and estimates with input from our technical and creative teams
- Offering ideas and advice around technical web and CMS solutions
- Monitoring retainer usage, account health and client satisfaction

Required skills
Essentials
- Solid experience developing client relationships and briefs within a web development or software agency
- Experience managing a portfolio of client accounts, including retainer or SLA-based clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to diligently manage customers’ needs
- Confidence writing clear briefs and proposals, with good attention to detail when capturing information
- Broad knowledge across technical areas, coupled with good knowledge in one or more of the following: content management systems, software development, SEO, web systems, UX design
- 3+ years industry experience
- Calm under pressure
- Great people skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of CRM or digital marketing services
