Job Description
At Epoch, we believe most people ignore brands because most brands ignore people. We’re here to change that.
As our Systems Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliable, secure and efficient operation of the technology that powers our 80 person agency.
You’ll be joining a Mac-first creative environment, where the majority of devices are Apple-based, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing Apple technology at scale. We’re looking for an experienced systems administrator with strong knowledge of Apple device management, MDM platforms such as Jamf Pro or JumpCloud, single sign-on (SSO) technologies and end-user support.
This is a hands-on role that combines Apple estate management, identity and access administration, end-user support, security and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with our Head of IT to manage and develop our technology estate, helping us deliver a secure, scalable and seamless technology experience for teams across the agency.
As a B Corp certified business, we’re looking for great people and we’re committed to building a team that’s representative of the audiences we create for. Above all, we strive to create a workplace where everyone and anyone can feel they belong. Our focus on equity, diversity and inclusion is central to achieving that.
What You’ll Do
- Administer and maintain our cloud-first technology environment, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and well supported.
- Manage and support Apple devices, Jamf Pro, Microsoft 365 and our wider portfolio of cloud services.
- Provide first-line and second-line support to colleagues, resolving technical issues efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor system performance, security alerts and device compliance, responding to incidents and escalating where appropriate.
- Support the management of user access, device security, patching, backup and recovery processes.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset records and operational procedures.
- Assist with compliance activities including ISO 27001, GDPR and Cyber Essentials requirements.
- Support the administration of software licences, SaaS platforms and third-party suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, security and user experience across the agency.
- Communicate technical information in a clear and accessible way to colleagues across the business.
