Vimto, the much-loved and iconic British soft drink, has appointed McCann as its new lead creative agency. Entrusting the agency to develop a wave of fresh, dynamic ideas that channel all the energy and playful spirit of the brand, McCann will lead in connecting Vimto’s vibrant personality to audiences old and new across the UK, creating memorable campaigns that cut through in today’s ever-evolving landscape.
McCann in Bristol and Manchester secured the win following an open call for agency interest that narrowed down to four finalists. Recognising that the brand deserved a bold, unifying idea capable of harmonising both brand and product activity at every touchpoint, the agency leveraged the strength of its extensive agency network and strategic insight to craft a unique vision for Vimto.
Jenny Powell, brand controller at Vimto, said: “The McCann team demonstrated a real passion for the brand and a desire to create great work collaboratively. We have over 100-years of history to build upon and I look forward to writing the next exciting chapter together with our agency.”
Under the new partnership, McCann will deliver fully integrated strategy, creative, communications planning, and production, all in close collaboration with Vimto’s expert partners.
Andy Reid, managing director at McCann Bristol, added: “We’re over the moon to work with the Vimto team – it’s a truly remarkable brand with a real place in British culture. Balancing what has come before with their ambitious future plans has led us to an emotionally rich and distinctive platform. We can’t wait to share it with the world.”
McCann’s latest campaign for Admiral Insurance, “Lost and Hound,” taps into the human truths at the heart of the industry, redefining Admiral’s approach to insurance marketing. In a sector dominated by price comparison website, the campaign uses brand-focused storytelling to engage with customers who value genuine care and long-term relationships from their insurance provider.
The campaign builds on Admiral’s new brand promise, “Always Looking Out For You” and marks Admiral’s most ambitious creative departure in over a decade. By targeting customers seeking ‘multi-value’ insurance providers, the campaign highlights Admiral’s unwavering commitment to customer care with “Lost and Hound” shifting the brand away from traditional product and price-driven messaging to spotlight Admiral’s core values of trust, care, and helpfulness.
To get to the heart of what matters most to customers, the spot explores the heartfelt backstory of ‘The Admiral,’ her iconic hat, and her sidekick, Alfie. Set in the fictional town of Admouth, with the familiar voice of Stephen Mangan as narrator, the campaign delivers a warm, and emotionally resonant storytelling experience that taps into the insight that while insurance often represents significant life milestones, the category is frequently associated with frustration and confusion.
Katie Dulake, Head of Brand at Admiral, said: “This campaign represents a pivotal moment for Admiral as we shift our focus to what truly matters to our customers – trust, care, and being there for them when it counts. ‘Lost and Hound’ really encapsulates our brand promise of ‘Always Looking Out For You’ and highlights the emotional connection we aim to build with our customers.”
Zane Radcliffe, ECD at McCann Bristol, said: “Our goal was to create a campaign that resonates deeply with customers by focusing on the human side of insurance. We uncovered the emotional significance of insurance in people’s lives and used that insight to craft a story that feels authentic, warm, and relatable.”
The comprehensive campaign runs until end of October across TV, BVOD, outdoor, radio, digital, and social platforms. Creative assets include 30-second and 10-second TVCs, 30-second radio spots, which feature Sally Phillips as ‘The Admiral’, and three distinctive OOH executions.
McCann Bristol has unveiled a whimsical new campaign, ‘The Weather Catcher,’ to mark Brittany Ferries’ sponsorship of ITV’s Channel Island Weather. This enchanting series of idents tells the story of an imaginative island boy who collects weather in jars, bringing the magic of meteorology to life in a way that captivates and charms.
Each spot by McCann captures a unique moment of creativity, such as the boy playing marbles with ‘Hail,’ discovering gold at the end of a ‘Rainbow,’ and using ‘Sunlight’ as a comforting night light. Together, these moments form a beautiful series that sparks wonder and curiosity, all while highlighting Brittany Ferries’ dependable presence.
“It’s a creative challenge to land an idea in 5 seconds,” said McCann Bristol’s Executive Creative Director, Zane Radcliffe. “The Weather Catcher does this in a quirky and utterly charming way, where the individual spots – tiny stories in their own right – combine to hint at a longer-form, magical drama.”
“We’re thrilled to bring the magic of island life to viewers through this enchanting campaign,” added Andrea Smith, Head of Acquisition Marketing at Brittany Ferries. “The Weather Catcher beautifully reflects the spirit of discovery and wonder that Brittany Ferries strives to deliver on every journey, and we’re proud to share this story with the Channel Islands community.”
McCann’s new campaign coincides with Brittany Ferries securing the Guernsey routes, reinforcing its commitment to the Channel Islands. Running until May 2026, The Weather Catcher will feature prominently across ITV, ensuring consistent engagement with a local audience while celebrating the wonder of island life.
The spots were directed by Olivier Richomme and produced by Chief Manchester.
Rodda’s, the iconic Cornish clotted cream maker, has unveiled its first-ever TV campaign, designed to redefine its clotted cream as the ultimate sweet treat companion. Developed in collaboration with McCann Bristol, “It’s Godda Be Rodda’s” aims to expand the appeal of clotted cream and establish Rodda’s as the go-to indulgence for any dessert.
In response to evolving consumer habits, McCann’s “It’s Godda Be Rodda’s” serves up the first TVC in the brand’s 130-year history. By showcasing its versatility, the agency is positioning Rodda’s clotted cream beyond its traditional cream tea associations and making it the only accompaniment to the nation’s favourite desserts.
The TVC is dripping with indulgence and full of humour, taking viewers to a dinner party where a berry tart showstopper is about to be served. Just as plain cream is poised to ruin the moment, the voiceover dramatically calls out to the host, breaking the fourth wall and directing her to the saving grace of Rodda’s clotted cream. The message is clear – when it’s time to indulge, “It’s Godda Be Rodda’s”. The result is a mouth-watering spot that brings a fresh perspective on how, and when, enjoy Rodda’s clotted cream.
Tom Bell, Commercial Director at Rodda’s, said: “We wanted to reignite the nation’s love for clotted cream while celebrating the many ways Rodda’s can elevate desserts. McCann Bristol perfectly captured our brand essence with a campaign that’s both fun and irresistibly delicious, reminding everyone that when it comes to treating yourself, there’s simply no substitute for Rodda’s.”
Zane Radcliffe, executive creative director at McCann Bristol, added: “There’s something magical about tapping into those simple, sensory pleasures, and Rodda’s is a brand that epitomises indulgence. With “It’s Godda Be Rodda’s”, we’ve created a campaign that not only sparks cravings but also expands how people think about clotted cream. It’s unexpected and as delicious as Rodda’s itself!”
In recent years clotted cream consumption has dipped and McCann Bristol aims to rekindle consumer interest, reminding them that it’s far more versatile than just being a staple for cream teas. The creative will run across TV, connected TV and social, alongside a creator-led content programme throughout July.
The campaign marks McCann Bristol’s first integrated project for Rodda’s since being appointed to support the brand’s creative, media and social earlier this year.
McCann’s latest campaign for Brittany Ferries is making waves targeting “modern explorers” seeking fresh and interesting travel. The latest ‘Wake’ campaign, developed by McCann Bristol, creates ripples with words to differentiate the brand through its unique approach to print advertising.
Building on the brand’s ‘Uncommon Holidays’ creative platform launched earlier this year, ‘Wake’ positions Brittany Ferries as more than just a mode of transport – establishing it as a distinctive holiday provider in its own right. The campaign’s unique typography transforms written lines into a rippling ‘sea’, creating a wake behind a ferry and hinting at the diverse experiences available on a Brittany Ferries Holiday to France and Spain.
In this elegant print campaign, McCann’s deliberate use of longer copy invites readers to uncover hidden gems within the advert, mirroring the discoveries awaiting explores on a Brittany Ferries Holiday.
Zane Radcliffe, ECD at McCann Bristol, explains: “In a creative industry often focused on AI, the ‘Wake’ campaign is a refreshing reminder of the power of human creativity to deeply resonate with audiences. Copywriting, art direction and typography combine perfectly, inviting readers to bob along on a sea of quirky holiday insights.”
Launching in The Guardian and The Observer, the campaign features multiple destinations and will run throughout the summer.
“The ’Wake’ campaign perfectly captures the spirit of Brittany Ferries,” says Andrea Smith, Head of Acquisition Marketing at Brittany Ferries. “It reinforces our commitment to providing travellers with uncommon holiday experiences that stand apart from standard air travel options. We offer the freedom to explore at your own pace, with your own vehicle, creating memories that last a lifetime.”

For the second consecutive year, McCann Bristol has joined forces with The Turing Trust, a charitable organisation that supports digital education in sub-Saharan Africa. Through a donation of 158 refurbished devices across the McCann Central network, which encompasses McCann Bristol, 3,510 students will now have access to vital IT skills, helping to bridge the digital divide.
Beyond supporting education, the donation also has a positive environmental impact. By extending the life of these devices, McCann is helping to offset 55 tonnes of CO2 emissions – the equivalent of planting 136 trees or offsetting the annual carbon footprint of six people.
This latest contribution builds on last year’s donation of 212 IT devices, which provided 3,816 students with access to technology and learning opportunities.
“We’re proud to continue our partnership with The Turing Trust and see our contributions make a real difference,” said Anil Mangal, Head of IT at McCann Central. “Access to technology opens up incredible opportunities, and we’re delighted that our donation will help thousands of students develop the skills they need for the future.”
Noah van der Linde, Donations Manager at The Turing Trust, added: “McCann’s ongoing support is truly invaluable. This latest donation will allow even more students to learn and grow. We can’t thank the team enough for their generosity and commitment to bridging the digital divide.”

The ‘Find Your Fizz’ campaign takes a fresh approach to marketing Pink Lady® apples’ unique flavour and taps into McCann’s research that reveals many Brits, particularly younger women, are often hesitant to express their true selves due to fear of social judgement. To help celebrate the uniquely fizzy Pink Lady® apples, the multi-channel ‘Find Your Fizz’ campaign champions individuality by celebrating those unapologetically moments of joy and mischief we often suppress.
Designed to drive sales and boost brand awareness, McCann’s campaign taps into Pink Lady® apples’ unique flavour profile, inspiring people to embrace their own unique personalities. Set at a competitive dog show, the TV ad focuses on a woman biting into her Pink Lady apple with the resultant ‘fizz’ awakening her inner desire to perform. We see her tackle the obstacle course, turning in a committed and comedic performance that wins applause and inspires jealousy from her canine competition.
McCann Bristol’s ECD, Zane Radcliffe said: “This is a fresh approach from a client who recognises the power of humour and doing things a little differently. There’s no apple quite like Pink Lady®, in terms of colour and taste and we wanted to create an ad that was equally distinctive and disruptive. The directing and performances are a joy and the scenario wonderfully mischievous.”
The Pink Lady® brand team at Twenty Degrees commented: “This is a bold new vision for the brand, one which builds on a global brand positioning developed by Twenty Degrees. We’re excited by the creative execution McCann has succeeded in bringing to life for the UK market. Our goal was to entertain consumers, giving them permission to celebrate their individuality and find joy in it. Much like a Pink Lady® apple. We’re proudly leaning into our distinctive profile.”
McCann’s campaign will run as a TVC, as well as across DOOH, digital and social media.
Brittany Ferries has launched a bold new creative platform, ‘Uncommon Holidays’, across the UK, Ireland, France, and Spain. It celebrates the rare, quirky, and unforgettable holiday experiences that set its journeys apart.
Developed by McCann Bristol, this multi-channel campaign taps into the insight that Brittany Ferries’ audience seeks off-the-beaten-track adventures as opposed to unremarkable ‘cookie-cutter’ package holidays.
This concept is backed by McCann Truth Central’s recent global study, Truth About Escapism, which surveyed over 16,000 people and found that 89% of Europeans believe it’s important to travel and experience how different people and cultures live, while 82% of Brits consider travelling the best form of escape.
Rooted in Brittany Ferries’ independent spirit, ‘Uncommon Holidays’ showcases how travel is about connection – especially through language. By creatively playing with words, it brings to life ‘uncommon phrases’ – expressions you won’t find in a typical phrasebook – to inspire fresh, unexpected travel experiences along Europe’s west coast.
McCann’s campaign will run across TVC, VOD, Cinema, and OOH, alongside radio, podcasts, display, social, and search.
McCann Bristol’s Executive Creative Director, Zane Radcliffe, said: “Brittany Ferries is so much more than just a ferry operator, it’s the start of an unforgettable experience. Our new campaign platform reframes the brand’s role, celebrating the charm, quirks and uniqueness of their uncommon holiday experiences.”
Floriane Chauvin, Group Head of Marketing at Brittany Ferries, added: “Uncommon Holidays encapsulates the very essence of Brittany Ferries – offering travellers an experience that’s rich in character and authenticity. Partnering with McCann Bristol, we’ve created a campaign that encourages people to see our destinations and onboard experience through a fresh and inspiring lens.”
Uncommon Holidays is the first fully integrated creative campaign from McCann Bristol since it was appointed as Brittany Ferries’ lead creative agency following a competitive pitch process. The win strengthens a three-year brand partnership, where McCann previously led Brittany Ferries’ media planning and buying. With media and creative working seamlessly together, the new campaign maximises the power of an integrated approach.
VOOM Nutrition sets out to celebrate the power of plants in its launch campaign for POWR, its vegan sports endurance bar.
Developed by leading creative agency McCann Bristol, ‘The Climb’ is a cautionary tale that follows a free climber preparing to tackle ‘the Big One’, an ominous, vertical rockface that he’s always been fixated on. The film is shot with the same intensity as an epic sports documentary but ends with a ‘dark humour’ twist that viewers don’t expect, tying into the campaign line: ‘Never underestimate the Power of Plants.’
“We’re a challenger brand in sports nutrition, a category that can often take itself quite seriously,” explains VOOM CEO Robin Higgens. “While we’re serious about creating our plant-based products, our team and our customers are outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy the unpredictability of nature, something McCann has expertly captured in the film.”
McCann Bristol’s Executive Creative Director, Zane Radcliffe adds: “Humour doesn’t often find its way into health and nutrition, so it’s been a breath of fresh air to write and shoot this, and to work with a bold client who understands that you don’t always have to land the brand in the first six seconds. The joy of this film is in its restraint. The product is the punchline, which makes it all the more powerful – never underestimate the power of funny!”
Launching earlier this month across social platforms, the film was directed by Olivier Richomme at Chief, and stars GB climber and Men’s Boulder medallist, Louis Parkinson, continuing VOOM’s collaboration with elite athletes.
“The team at Chief have been an inspiration,” explains Radcliffe. “In true documentary fashion they’ve worked wonders with a modest budget and a skeleton crew to deliver a mini epic.”
Yeo Valley Organic, Britain’s largest organic dairy brand, is returning to TV screens this month after a decade, with a campaign driven by its lead creative agency, McCann – out of their Bristol office.
The new TV spot lands the line: ‘Delicious is at the heart of everything we do.’ Presenting the journey from farm to fridge through beautifully crafted scenarios at Yeo Valley Organic’s own founding farm in Somerset, the creative identifies heart shapes in nature: from a murmuration of starlings to the markings on a cow, it celebrates the truth that healthy, organic food is a pure and unadulterated pleasure, and that when you respect nature, and farm organically, it rewards you with delicious goodness.
Yeo Valley Organic Brand Director Niall McKee said: “This is a very exciting time for Yeo Valley Organic as we return to TV screens after a decade. It was time to reconnect with our audience and remind them who we are and what we stand for. Our new ad emphasises why nature is a source of eating well, by connecting our passion for the land and the natural world to a rich taste experience. Building brand awareness by highlighting our regenerative organic farming credentials in a bid to stay top of mind throughout consumers’ path to purchase.
Zane Radcliffe, McCann Bristol’s ECD, added: “It’s an honour to be entrusted with a brand like Yeo Valley Organic and the heart script is a beautiful, visual celebration of both nature and the love that goes into every delicious spoonful, drop or pot.”
A 30-second format on ITV VOD is currently running as part of the ITV backing business programme, an initiative developed to help keep British businesses moving by working with agency partners. It is also supported with 40 and 10-second formats running online and across social.
