Job Description
Love Struck is looking for a freelance content creator to make scroll-stopping reels that bring our drinks to life on socials. It’s 2 days a week, starting January 2027, for a minimum of 6 months.
We make blends that turn into joyful drinks in minutes: smoothies, refreshers, shakes, matcha and more. Our customers are cafés (gyms, independent coffee shops, hotels and small chains) and people making drinks at home.
You’ll be working closely with the marketing director to produce all social content – organic and paid. You’ll be laser focussed on:
- Hook first. The first second earns the watch. Playful, surprising, happy to jump on viral trends.
- Mouthwatering always. Texture, colour, pour, condensation. If it doesn’t make you thirsty, it isn’t done.
- Made to be saved and shared. We judge success by saves and shares, not just views.
Required skills
Who you are:
- You live on Instagram and TikTok. You know what’s trending this week, which sounds and formats are taking off, and why a reel works.
- You have your own Instagram or TikTok account that shows your personal style and the kind of content you make. We’ll want to see it. You’re comfortable shooting in cafes and street-style.
- You love drinks. Smoothies, matcha, iced coffees, refreshers, shakes: you knew about Ube before it was a thing, are totally over Matcha, and know how to pronounce Erewhon!
- You can shoot and edit short-form video on your phone, in apps like CapCut, InShot or Instagram’s own editor. Great light and a strong hook matter more to us than fancy kit.
- You can write a hook. You can come up with playful, surprising openers and pitch them in a line.
- You have an eye for food styling: texture, colour, glassware, toppings, the perfect pour.
- You’re organised and reliable. You can plan a batch shoot, hit deadlines and keep raw clips and final files tidy and labelled.
- You’re happy to take feedback and test different ideas to see what performs.
Nice to have:
- Experience making content for a food, drink or hospitality brand, or for a café.
- Barista or café experience, so you know your way around a counter and a blender.
- Some experience with paid social: knowing what makes a reel work as an ad.
- Experience with brand collaborations or Instagram collab posts.
- Basic design skills in Canva for covers and simple graphics.
Benefits
- £200 a day + perks (free product, a kit and props budget, credit on posts)
- Ideally Bristol/Bath based as our marketing director (with whom you’ll work closely) is based in Somerset – but flexible.
- 2 days a week (likely 1 filming, 1 editing), with a 6 month initial contract and 2 month break-clause.
