Applications are now open for the Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP) – South by Southwest (SXSW) 2027, Austin, Texas, USA.

Who can apply?

To be eligible, companies must:

• Be a UK-registered, innovation-led business with ambitions to grow internationally.
• Be operating in one or more of the programme’s focus areas:
  • Film & TV
  • Music, Visual & Performing Arts
  • Advertising & Marketing Technologies
  • Other creative technology innovations within scope.
• Be developing an innovation that is beyond proof-of-concept/MVP stage.
• Have fewer than 250 employees.
• Nominate a CEO, founder, or senior decision-maker to participate.
• Not have previously attended SXSW through Innovate UK support or independently

Programme Benefits

Selected companies will receive:

• A tailored international market exploration programme.
• Access to SXSW and a bespoke business development agenda in Austin.
• Opportunities to build partnerships, collaborations and market connections.
• Dedicated support from an Innovation and Growth Specialist before, during and after the visit.
