Wild Winter at 42 Acres: A Christmas Gathering for Small Creative Teams
Networking
>by Industry Events
Small creative businesses don’t always have the numbers, or the budget, to take over a venue for a traditional Christmas party.
Wild Winter at 42 Acres offers another option: individual places for small teams to join other like-minded organisations for a Christmas gathering in 173 acres of regenerative Somerset countryside near Frome.
The day begins around the fire in the estate’s ancient oak woodland with mulled apple juice made using apples grown on the land, followed by a hands-on winter experience. Teams will either try wild winter crafting using natural materials gathered from the estate, or learn the traditional skill of apple-tree grafting and contribute to a future orchard.
Everyone then comes together around a long shared table for a seasonal Wild Winter lunch, with food rooted in ingredients grown and foraged at 42 Acres.
It’s designed for small teams who want to mark the end of the year, spend some proper time together and meet other businesses without having to organise an entire Christmas event themselves.
