I’m a freelance copywriter with a background in commercial law. I work with businesses, and primarily professional services.

Most self-deprecating British people don’t sell themselves very well. There’s an art to making a submission compelling without invoking your cringe reflex. I write winning submissions that are persuasive, specific and effective.
✏ Bid Writing / Grant applications
To write a compelling bid or grant application, you need clarity and precision in your language. But you also need skilful storytelling to explain how your innovation will improve the current status quo. I waste no words in my bids and I make sure the criteria is satisfied with precision.

Blogs are a great way to demonstrate expertise and add value to clients. But it can be hard to find the time and the brain-space to post articles frequently. I’ll keep the content flowing to keep your website and social media up-to-date, fresh and relevant.

You can ask me to write your legal blogs, articles and updates for you too. I’ll help educate your audience on top tips, pitfalls and recent changes. But they won’t be dry case analyses. I’m aiming for a little more Denning flair and creativity in legal blogs.

Writing your own website should be easy shouldn’t it? You’re just explaining what you do and who you do it for, and you know that inside out. But if you’ve ever tried to write content for your website, you’ll know it’s not quite that simple. Outsourcing that task will take one more thing off your plate.
