Member Bio

I’m an award-winning composer, producer, sound designer and multi-instrumentalist creating immersive and richly-detailed music / sound scores for drama, documentary and interactive media on television, VR, audio drama and in the theatre.

Drawing on a huge range of eclectic influences, I’ve composed and recorded music in a wide range of styles ranging from orchestral music to electronica, choral writing, quirky sound design and intimate acoustic textural work. Working from my broadcast-standard Pro Tools and Logic-based studio with full remote recording capabilities via Source Connect, I also have a wide network of superb live instrumentalists to call upon, ranging from full orchestra to unique historical and world instruments.

I’ve been extensively commissioned by broadcasters including BBC TV & radioChannel 4ITVSky & Al Jazeera and major theatres including the RSC, National Theatre, West End and Bristol Old Vic (‘Pink Mist’ & ‘Touching The Void’).

I have a particular reputation for the quality of my work under time-pressure (especially in television / media production chains) and pride myself on my ability get to the nub of a brief rapidly and effectively, and my consistent delivery of first-class music and audio solutions.

I have a particular interest in immersive audio technologies, especially in relation to VR / 360º video.

‘Nothing is too much to ask, no timeline is impossible, and there is simply no style or form of music he can’t deliver’ (Neil Gardner: producer, BBC)

‘Unearthly, gorgeous music’ (The Times)
