Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and we’re looking for an SEO Manager who can take ownership of our search offering and help drive the next stage of our growth.
As our SEO Manager, you’ll lead SEO strategy and delivery across a range of clients and sectors. You’ll be responsible for creating clear, data-driven plans, managing the technical and on-page optimisation process, and helping our clients understand what great search performance looks like.
You’ll work closely with our wider strategy and digital team, manage freelancers where needed, and play a key role in developing SONDR’s SEO proposition as we continue to expand our performance offering.
This is a role for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, equally comfortable discussing big-picture growth as they are running a crawl or optimising a page.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive SEO strategies and roadmaps tailored to each client’s goals.
- Lead on-site and technical optimisation projects using tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Manage the SEO team’s workload and ensure all deliverables are completed to a high standard.
- Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards for clear, visual performance reporting.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing insights, recommendations and strategic updates.
- Support the new business team with SEO insights and proposals.
- Stay up to date with search trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies such as AI and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation).
- Take ownership of SEO at SONDR, helping define our approach and future direction.
Required skills
- Experience working with eCommerce clients.
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager or similar tracking software.
- Ability to create custom Looker Studio dashboards.
- Experience running outreach and link-building campaigns.
- Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and how search visibility is evolving with AI.
- Experience using CRO tools such as Hotjar to identify UX opportunities.
