Senior Account Manager
£34-40k per annum
Role Overview:
As a Senior Account Manager at Pretty Pragmatic, you’ll work with the agency team to nurture relationships, co-ordinate fantastic work and deliver outstanding results for clients who really appreciate what we do for them.
The main elements of the role will be:
- Managing projects – primarily digital, ranging from new website builds to content creation and ad campaigns.
- Leading and nurturing client relationships, advising stakeholders of all levels.
- Co-ordinating the agency team – from strategists to copywriters and developers.
- Creating timing plans, cost estimates and proposals for projects.
- Providing client status updates, both internally and externally.
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end project management process, including the digital toolsets and software to streamline delivery (e.g. JIRA).
- Giving strategic guidance to clients to help improve their digital performance, be it through paid ads, SEO or improving the experience of their site.
- An eye for quality – helping enhance and improve the work to ensure we deliver top-quality work.
- Spotting opportunities to grow existing accounts and developing proposals.
Who we’re looking for:
- You’re a natural organiser – who loves planning, getting things in order, and having ideas we can make a reality.
- You’re a clear communicator – articulate and confident voicing your opinion, both to clients and internally.
- You’ll be a self-starter – inquisitive and want to learn new things as you go, particularly strategic stuff. And if you have an idea for a new process or initiative, we’re all ears!
- You know what a CMS is and have some experience managing site builds.
- You’re up for some fun – we’re here to enjoy what we do and want you to add to the fun too!
- You’ve got agency experience – you’ll be a professional plate-spinner and know how to handle client-agency relationships from the get-go.
- You thrive on the detail – from getting people lined up for projects to proofing the latest content, you’ll be the one to help us make sure it’s right first time!
What it’s like to work here:
We’re a supportive team of 12 who’s growing and share a passion for creating great work – whether that’s for your favourite cocktail bar, a sensational stadium, a brilliant events brand, a fun family restaurant, or hotel chain that feels like a home-from-home. Our team of strategists, designers, copywriters, campaign managers, SEO experts, developers and digital marketing managers all help to ensure we make sense sensational for our clients.
We’re not a stickler for rules, but we do have 6 guiding principles which (we believe) makes us a great place to work:
- Give & Take – We’re not a rigid 9-5:30 place. We work in real life – if you need to start a bit later or finish early, we can make it work.
- Make It Happen – We love a bit of proactivity. If you have a good idea, don’t be afraid to be the one that makes it real.
- Basics, Then Brilliance – We do the basics well, then find ways to go beyond.
- Strive To Stand Out – We like competition. There’s no shame in wanting to be the best.
- Win Together, Lose Apart – We help each other whenever we can. It makes a big difference.
- Pride Over Profit – Stand up for what you believe in, don’t just bow to a big budget.
We know the importance of proper R&R – so you’ll get 25 days holiday and your birthday off.
You’ll also get an annual £500 training allowance for your development, a ‘Healthy Habits’ monthly wellness allowance, a pension, Headspace subscription, and some other PP perks. We know kit is important too, so you’ll get quality tech that ensures you’ve got the right tools for creating great stuff.
Bristol’s our home, and we’re after someone who’s able to work from our office at least a couple of days a week. We’ve got a lovely new open-plan space in the Paintworks that we’re moving into from March.
If you’re excited about working at Pretty Pragmatic, we’d love to hear from you. Email us your CV at join@prettypragmatic.com and we’ll be in touch.
