Category Marketing Manager

Job Description

About us

Ensera is a global Contract Design and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that partners with pharmaceutical and medical device businesses to bring their products to market. We are expanding our marketing team and looking for an experienced marketer to lead our efforts for the standalone design and product development consultancy part of our business.

Our design consultancy business spans a wide range of specialisms including drug delivery, surgical devices, diagnostics, digital health products and experiences, consumer health, women’s health, and sustainable design. With design capabilities in both the US and UK, supported by manufacturing facilities in the US, Europe and Asia, we help clients take pioneering products from concept through to commercialization, combining strategy, design, engineering, and usability expertise to accelerate market-ready healthcare innovation that improves health outcomes.

Operating in the UK and the US, our design consultancy business has recently united under a new trading name – Ensera Design. This is therefore an exciting time to be joining us to take the lead in driving the international profile and success of this new brand.

About the role

We are seeking a Category Marketing Manager to lead marketing for newly launched Ensera Design consultancy brand: driving awareness, engagement and pipeline growth in both the US and UK markets. Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that position Ensera Design as a partner of choice for healthcare product innovation across diverse categories.

You will collaborate closely with sales, design, engineering and other subject matter experts to create compelling value propositions, marketing campaigns, and content that resonate with global pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer health decision-makers.

This role requires experience in healthcare B2B marketing (ideally to pharmaceutical, medical device or consumer health businesses, not to hospitals or healthcare professionals), excellent communication and storytelling skills, and the ability to manage complex campaigns across multiple regions and audiences.

Please note that while this role is based in Bristol, some travel to our design studio in the US (New Jersey), manufacturing site in Poland, and to tradeshows in the US and Europe, will be required.
