Content Creator and Marketing Manager
Reporting to: Meg Pope and Clem Green, Directors
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
Who We Are
Duchess Media is a digital marketing and PR agency working with some of Bristol’s most exciting hospitality, events, and lifestyle brands. We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, food-and-drink-loving content creator and marketing manager to join our creative, close-knit team.
The Role
Your primary focus will be content creation across all client accounts, while also managing day-to-day marketing and social media activity for a select few. From shoot planning and video editing to campaign strategy and scheduling, you’ll play a key role in helping our clients stand out online.
This role is ideal for someone with a flair for photography, videography, and copywriting who’s looking to grow their career in content and digital marketing. You should be comfortable behind a DSLR, confident with mobile videography, and know how to make a punchy Reel or TikTok. A genuine love for hospitality is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Plan and manage photo and video shoots across client accounts
- Liaise with clients to arrange shoot dates and create shot lists
- Capture high-quality content using DSLR and mobile equipment
- Edit video content using tools like CapCut and InShot
- Keep up with social trends, especially across TikTok and Reels
- Manage and direct freelance content creators when required
Social Media & Strategy
- Develop and manage monthly content plans
- Schedule and publish posts across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Write engaging captions and blog content that reflect each brand’s tone
- Engage with communities and monitor conversations across platforms
- Track performance metrics and deliver regular social reports
- Support client audience growth in line with KPIs
Client & Team Support
- Collaborate with Directors on marketing and campaign strategy
- Contribute to Duchess Media’s own social content and presence
- Help plan and deliver marketing for events
- Provide occasional on-the-day event support (evenings/weekends may be required, with time off in lieu)

Required skills
We’re Looking For
- 1+ year in a similar content role
- Strong photography and videography skills (DSLR and mobile)
- Passion for food, drink and independent businesses (a must!)
- Confident creating and editing mobile-first content
- Excellent copywriting and a sharp eye for detail
- A keen follower of social trends, especially TikTok
- Friendly, confident communicator and team player
- Self-motivated with plenty of ambition
