Mental Health First Aid provides a framework for responding to emotional and mental health difficulties including anxiety, self injury, depression, suicide risk and psychosis. There is an emphasis on early intervention, promoting good mental health and linking individuals to resources and services that can help.
You will leave with a comprehensive handbook of guidance and resources to respond to crisis when they occur, look after your own mental health and promote mental health awareness and wellbeing in your workplace, service and community.
Course content and resources includes basic information and guidance to respond to individuals experiencing:
Anxiety disorders
Depression
Self-harm
Eating disorders
Suicide prevention
Psychosis
MHFA promotes early intervention to enable recovery – it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis.
This course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider. Participants receive:
a digital manual and ongoing learning events through an Online Learning Hub
access to resources for post-training support via the MHFAider® support app
a certificate from MHFA England that will last for 3yrs

The course will be on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 November, 9:30am – 4:30pm each day (registration on Tuesday from 9:15am).

The cost of this course is £280 (including VAT) per person. This includes a manual and certification from Mental Health First Aid England.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, and payment will be due by Thursday 17 October.

If you need to cancel for any reason our refund policy is as follows:
· Up to 21 days before: 50% refund minus assessment fee
· Up to 7 days before: 30% refund minus assessment fee
· Less than a week’s notice: a refund will not be possible
If you need to cancel then we will do our best to fill your place, and if this is possible then we will look to offer you a full refund, minus the assessment fee which cannot be refunded. Please understand that Ad Infinitum is liable to pay the cost of the teaching fee to the tutor, so if someone cancels with less than a week’s notice it will not be possible for us to fill that place on the course, and we will still need to pay the tutor their fee.
